Mike came to my 100+ year old house in Crystal Lake that has had several updates over the years to address an intermittent electric problem that was happening with increased frequency. Naturally the problem didn't occur during Mike's visit. But Mike was patient and tried things to try and make it recur. Mike listened asked great questions, reviewed the impacted areas and suggested a two tier approach that was pragmatic and fairly priced. He demonstrated knowledge/experience and really did a great job communicating and explaining along the way so that we were on the same page throughout the process. Mike examined my electric box and circuits and found some issues that required attention. He reviewed the set up of the box, opened a few junction boxes and swapped out some old switches. I knew more about the situation when Mike was done and felt good knowing he'd done a thorough review and fixed items that where potentially in the problem area. The best thing though is that while Mike never got to see the intermittent problem that had been occurring every couple days, in the roughly 3 weeks since his visit, it hasn't happened again. To me that strongly suggests that Mike's check up, fixes and adjustments solved the problem. I'd hire him again and recommend him to others.
